The first feature you should notice about the Classic car top carrier is that it has no zipper. The Classic closes like a whitewater rafting bag. The opening comes together with Velcro and it rolls down to snug your gear. Fold the ends together and buckle with the oversize 2 inch side release clip and pull the adjustor tight. No zipper to leak, break, or snag your gear. The entire bag, and it's big is made of only ONE piece of material. No seams on the front, top, or bottom which is important as this carriers faces 70 mph winds and torrential rains on top of your car.
The big design advantage is that you can fill this car top carrier only partially and still roll it up tight for a secure package. Variable capacity 4-16 cubic feet, about the size of an average car trunk.
Every Classic car top carrier includes four sets of StrapRight strapping system. Easy to use with or without a luggage rack. Simply loop it around your raised luggage bar or attach the two ends together and strap through your car and over the gear.
We use thick dual layer HydroTuff material. UV resistant on the outside, waterproof vinyl on the inside. The carrier has a great canvas, sturdy feel.
